OUR STORY

Hello,

Welcome to Ivor & Lynn’s online store which is based in Birmingham, England. We both have a shared love of music, nature and a passion for leathercraft amongst many other interests. After slowly building up a good collection of leather working tools over the years this has enabled us to produce good quality items to a high standard. We have decided that now is the time to turn our hobby into a small business, having the chance to offer our own range of personal creations and ideas through our online shop. Hopefully this will be a new and exciting journey for us.

Our inspiration comes from vintage 60's, 70's cool retro rock styles to current trends such as steampunk, bohemian, Medieval LARP, hippie festival fashion etc. We enjoy working with leather, gemstones, bone and other natural materials, Native American and ethnic tribal influences also appear in our creations.

We both enjoy creating something different and producing new designs which stand out from the crowd. Each item is carefully produced from our own home using limited resources. All our items are handcrafted, which also enables us to offer a custom order service.

I love the boot straps I ordered, the packaging was very nice, these makers care about their work, and it shows, I wear the boot straps with my Ariat legends, and they look amazing

When my belt arrived I was immediately struck by the quality of the packaging. Upon opening the parcel, the surprise continued. The presentation of my purchase was exceptional. The craftsmanship of the leatherwork is A1 and the belt is really just what I had hoped for. Oh, come on . . . it's just a belt, isn't it! That's not the point though! This belt is beautifully crafted and looks gorgeous.

Lynn and Ivor offer a superb service with cheery and swift communication. Speaking of swift, this arrived so uncannily quickly (ordered at 5pm on a Sunday, arrived safe and sound on Tuesday morning) that I had to wait three days before Etsy would allow me to review it.

In addition to the alliteratively beautiful belt, ILleathercraft's packaging is sublime; it's clear they put a great deal of thought, care, and love into their work and service. Much appreciated, folks.
